TLDR: Spring Cleaning and a rose bush battle. ow my back.

I've been at it for like a week now trying to get my home together inside and out. Yesterday, oh my gosh, yesterday I fought 4 wild rose bushes. Their roots are stupid big. Cleaned up around the Mailbox a lot so that I don't have to fend off Blackberry bushes and poison ivy again. My gosh and the inside of the house is an absolute mess. I have rearanged the house 3 times and I'm not sure if I'm satisfied yet or not. The place is trashed like mad. I can't do too much either because my back needs so much tender love and care. 4 rose bush battles was too much for sure.

I think I need to get one of those dumpsters to throw out all of the everything, because there is just so much garbage I need to throw out. TuT My trashbad area got some butthole animal in it two nights ago. I'm just so defeated at that because I already spent so much time putting it in the trash bags in the first place. He tore through three of them. AAAAAAAAAug.

Oh but also BURN TO ASHES the STupid thing I hated! FINALLY I got to get rid of it! Ahahahaha! Been waiting all winter for spring to be able to burn the big wooden stuff that wouldn't fit in a trash bag. Yay for Spring Rain.

Heya, Are there Headphones that Don't Hurt? I wear Glasses, so Headphones tend to hurt. Are there Glasses friendly headphones? I haven't had headphones for myself in over a year now, and it makes streaming games/art+mic a little difficult. Headphones tend to give me a headache after 20 minutes. (I sometimes wear a hat over to counteract that for like an extra 10 minutes.)

On the thought of Earbuds, I don't like earbuds. they feel gross. I don't want something lingering in my earwax. If there is a thing that Goes around the ear, and not IN the ear, that'd be great, though. I could really really use Ear Noise Device Suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Doesn't need to be soundproof. Just needs to be comfy for glasses wearers.

I am slowly getting back to drawing spirits. I will be Slowly inching away at my current Commission queue now, aparent by my minature hour streams. As for New Future COmmissions, I won't be opening them... i think... or at least maybe only small sketchies or small chibis. I don't know how to plan my future the next one to two month in art.

I've kinda only been drawing twice a week for half an hour. sort of. Some scribbles every so often. even for myself. But do be reassured I'll be drawing again in time. i just feel not good yet. might draw some gore a little bit in between. I forgot to draw the Skewered snoms. i wanna draw those. they're cute. (and then i do absolutely not that, watch. XD )

UNRELATED: don't breath in Soy+hot pepper sauce. Holy poop, don't. my lungs felt like I tried to eat hot gravel. I accidentally breathed some in eating some dumplings last night and holy heck it still hurts today. Lungs, my poor babies, i am so sorry. I don't know if that hurt more than breathing in pool water, but both made me near barf trying to breath. I think the sauce would have been worse if there was more of it. it burned going down and coming up.

Get ready. Its mostly cranky times. Not talking about Snap since I have no interest in it and it also looks pretty darn Fine.
Pokemon Direct Announcement:

Diamond and Pearl
The Long Awaited remake that Even I was hoping to see? Well, it looks like they could have just ported the game in HD to the Switch instead and it be roughly the same. It's not at all how I was expecting they would remake it. All the past remakes brought in the games into the "Current style of the newest game", but they chose to go Chibi-overworld. They overlayed the old game instead of remaking the game into the new style of pokemon which is dissapointing me a good deal.

Now, I like Diamond and Pearl. It was a super enjoyable time to play DP, and there's a good chance I'll still get it. maybe 50/50. But what I wanted froma Switch Remake was for it to be brought into the 3D world like SwSh. DP had a LOT of open spaces and exploration that I felt would have been wild to experience. Eterna Forest is going to sadly be a Top-Down still. The expansive routes will stay as such as well. They HAVE full 3D models of the characters (as seen for battles), but they chose chibi-overworld and to match with the DS version so heavily.

ORAS, though they didn't include the battle tower or island games, Still was brought into the Sun/Moon style when they did the remake. HGSS was brought into the modern style of the time as well. FrLg as well. It just makes me so cranky they didn't for Diamon Pearl.

It's more of a Rehash than a Remake from what they presented. It looks like it'd have been the same thing if they just plopped the DS version onto the switch. Also so much color sateration

LEGENDS
Okay. So, I like the idea of traveling around an Early Era Pokemon world. But um.... It's the Sinnoh Region (DP) and they are using Dawn and MC BOY again still? ANd the Starters aren't of The Sinnoh region? Okay, so, I have a lot to unfold with this one. Not all is Negative, and some is actually more critique.

Firstly the Starters. Theory for why they chose Rowlet, Oshowatt, and Cyndaquil is as such. Rowlet (Archer) and Oshawatt (Samurai) being Old time era warriors. I think they didn't have much coice with fire starters so my only though is that a Quilava is close to a Weasel where a Kamitachi is a Weasel Spirit with Sythe Claws so Scythe User. XD Now we have 3 Weapon-Weilders for the Old Era as Starters here. I think that's how that's working.

Now, an observation on the MC Avatars. "Dawn" is barely passing as its just a long haired dawn in ninja garb. Could just be Anscestor. However BOY is literally just the Current Sinnoh Boy MC. He's got a frikken modern hat. The character's clothings are out of place for it being "an old era". More effort into making this feel "old Era" please. Like... are they considering old Era 1000 years or 100, because 100 years was probably just when Professor Oak was a child (celebi movie). And it then wouldn't make that much sense at one hundred i don't think for the region to develope.

Pokemon Cannon History is going to get really funky. The various series tend to keep in mind very heavily all the other series, so i super am curious about that.

Last comment: MY GOSH does it look buggy and unfinished, though. I can't imagine it coming out in only one year. Did you see all the twitching? It's something that seems interesting for me who loves extensive lore, but the visuals and model twitching make me a little concerned as it is.

Interesting update this time around. FA is now independently owned by Dragoneer again. That's an interesting one because im curious how fast the site will progress now. It did quite a lot of updating and cut down heavily on downtime while under IMVU, so im curious to see if the site will be able to support itself just as much now that its back to this.

I'm excited to see "Name Changing" is listed as a future feature. I know a couple of you folks who have usernames that you thought you could change before signing up and met with the unfortunate truth that it wasn't an available feature. Think real hard about how you'd want to call yourself in the future from now on. It doesn't give specifics as to how many times you can change or what the process is so think carefully about Who you Want to be Called.

I'm also excited to that there is a Trending section listed for the future. With a site that's been up for so long, the "most popular" section is extremely stagnent. The same art has been up there since I joined this site, and a "recently popular" page would help promote a lot more artists.

Future Video Upload Support is listed. I am very curious to see what this entails. If I can upload my animations i post to youttube, I'll be very very happy. I'll definitally do more of them. It's always baffled me as to why they didn't have the ability to upload videos before when they allowed flash animations. not everyon had created works in a flash format so i could never upload to FA.

Improvements to writing is also a VERY good thing to see listed in the near future. Animation might have been borked, but Writing was absolutely horrendously set up. If you uploaded the way it was "meant" to, it was ugly as all hell displayed. The writer's category needs an update so bad. I always uploaded a small art file and copy/pasted the whole thing in the descrion intead because it looked nicer and could be displayed upfront.

Improvements to the block setting. i HOPE that means our profiles will not be visually available to blocked people. It's the most disturbing thing to have someone stalk your account and still have access even if blocked. I hope that those will be the improvements.

NOW, Onto the Logo change. I'll be frank, I hate it. Every furry art site is a Pawprint now and I hate it. Their last two Logos, the fox tail and the Fender Face, were much more appealing. I think the Fox tail was a really great one since it had FA in the logo and was visible even when small. I always ALWAYS hated that their little tab icon was a paw since every other furry site had a paw. It's not unique and doesn't actually say FA on it. Also, they should change their tab icon to their logo because that was the source for most confusion. most sites use their logo in the tab icon, but FA never did. Now technically there is some consistency, but the Logos don't sneakily have FA written on them to make it obvious the logo is for FurAffinity.
